Taking good care of your teeth doesn't just help you look your best; dental care is also important for maintaining overall health. Most dental problems can be prevented by brushing at least twice daily. Using treatments containing essential oil can help prevent problems, as well.
Floss with Clove:
Clove essential oil helps stop bacteria from building up in the mouth. While flossing alone is an excellent habit, clove essential oil is a valuable addition to your daily regimen. Apply 1 drop of clove essential oil to your thumb and forefinger, then rub it on your floss before use. Floss at least once a day for clean, healthy teeth and gums. Rinse your mouth with water after and spit; do not swallow. do not use clove essential oil with children younger than 12 years old.
Fresh, clean breath doesn’t have to come from commercial preparations. Use this simple trick instead of buying mouthwash for naturally delightful breath. Add 1 or 2 drops of peppermint essential oil to 1 tablespoon of water and swish for 30 seconds after brushing and flossing. Repeat this treatment at least 2 times a day.
