Treating Heart for better Functioning with Essential Oils

Healthy Heart Function:

Keep your heart healthy, and you are more likely to enjoy a physically comfortable life, greater longevity, and all the good things that accompany a long life well lived.

Diffuse Ylang-Ylang:

Ylang-Ylang essential oil is a hypotensive, meaning it helps promote a decrease in blood pressure. It soothes and relaxes body and mind easing anxiety and tension while promoting relaxation. Add 3-5 drops to a diffuser to achieve the best aromatherapy benefits of ylang-ylang essential oil. Keep cool and calm all day by using it in an aromatherapy pendant.

Soothing Petitgrain Bath Oil:

Petitgrain essential oil is an antispasmodic that helps reduce heartbeat and ease breathing. Inhale it when you are felling stressed or enjoy even more benefits by relaxing with this wonderfully scented bath. Note that very hot water can cause blood pressure to increase, so it is contraindicated for reducing heart rate.

MAKES 1 TREATMENT

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tablespoon Carrier Oil
  • 4 Drops Petitgrain Essential Oil

Directions:

  1. In a small glass bowl, add the carrier oil and the petitgrain oil, and stir to combine.
  2. Draw warm bath and add the entire treatment to the running water.
  3. Soak for at least 15 minutes. Use caution when getting out of the bathtubs it may be slippery
  4. Repeat this treatment once a day as needed.

Ylang-Ylang Bath Oil:

MAKES 1 TREATMENT

Though not as effective as in a diffuser, ylang-ylang can also be used to relax the mind and body as well as decrease blood pressure.

Ingredients:

  • 3or 4 Drops Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil

Directions:

  1. Draw a warm bath and add the ylang-ylang essential oil to the running water.
  2. Soak for at least 15 minutes. Use caution when getting out of the bathing tub, as it may be slippery
  3. Repeat this treatment once a day as needed.

Relaxing Ylang-Ylang Massage Oil:

Ease anxiety and tension while soothing muscles and reducing blood pressure with ylang-ylang essential oil.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Ounce Carrier Oil
  • 10 to 20 Drops Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil

Directions:

  1. In a small glass bowl, add the carrier oil and ylang-ylang essential oil , and stir to combine.
  2. Using your fingertips, apply between 1 teaspoon and 1 tablespoon of the blend to the body , and massage it into the skin.
  3. Repeat this treatment once a day as needed.
