Treatment of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) with Essential Oils

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD):

Seasonal affective disorder (SAD) usually begins as days shorten in fall or winter and ends as days grow longer during spring and summer. The feelings of sadness, tiredness, and depression that often accompany SAD are caused by reduced serotonin production. Essential oils and light therapy can turn SAD around in most cases. If these treatments do not work, seek medical intervention.
