Skin tags are a primarily cosmetic concern. These small flaps hang from the skin via a slender connecting stalk; they are skin-colored and are normally painless, although they become irritated if they rub against clothing or jewelry. If essential oils do not help, you can have your doctor remove your skin tag for you by freezing it with liquid nitrogen, burning it off, or removing it with a scalpel.
Eliminate with Frankincense:
Frankincense essential oil can be applied directly to skin tags, particularly if they are sore and inflamed. Apply 1 drop of essential oil to each skin tag. Repeat this treatment 2 times a day until the skin tags are gone. This treatment works best on smaller skin tags; larger ones respond better to treatment with tea tree essential oil.
Banish with Tea Tree:
Tea tree essential oil has a strong drying effect that skin tags normally can't resist. Apply 1 drop of tea tree essential oil to each skin tag. Repeat this treatment 2 times a day until the skin tags are gone.
