Treatment of Warts with Essential Oils

Warts are bumpy, rough, or hardened areas of skin that grow faster than the surrounding skin. Most warts are harmless; however, the virus that causes them is highly contagious. Contact your doctor if you have genital warts, or if you are not certain that a skin growth is a wart, or if symptoms of infection such as pain, pus, redness, fever, or swelling are present.

Remove with Tea Tree:

Tea tree essential oil is one of the most effective natural wart removal remedies available. Using your fingertips, apply 1 drop of tea tree essential oil to the surface of the wart and let it dry. Repeat this treatment up to 3 times a day until the wart fades.

Cypress-Lavender-Lemon Wart Remover:

Cypress, lavender, and lemon essential oils help dry out warts and stop the virus that causes them. This blend is intended for people over 12 years old. Dilute the blend in equal amounts with a carrier oil for younger children.

  1. In a dark-colored glass bottle, add the cypress, lavender, and lemon essential oils, and shake well to blend.
  2. Using your fingertips, apply 1 drop of the blend to the wart.
  3. Repeat this treatment 2 times a day until the wart fades.
